Ali is responsible for the strategic direction of Perennial EdTech, combining a unique and forward-looking vision.
He began his career at Amdahl corporation, a mainframe computer company, where he spent 17 years rising from an Engineer to President of the Server and Storage division. He also headed SourceForge and Zetta, both technology companies. Ali is passionate about setting goals, achieving business results, being part of a team and working with bright people on a daily basis. In his free time, Ali enjoys spending time with his family, wife and two sons.
VP, Mergers & Acquisitions
Amanda is responsible for Perennial EdTech’s corporate development, including mergers and acquisitions.
Before joining Perennial, Amanda co-founded and ran an HR technology company. Earlier, she managed software and hardware partnerships for iOS, Watch, and Mac products at Apple. She began her career at Morgan Stanley, where she worked with investors to evaluate commodity-related transactions. Amanda holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College. Amanda’s interests include interior decorating, cycling, basketball, and traveling with friends and family.
Erika leads the core financial processes of Perennial EdTech and all portfolio companies and is responsible for implementing the company’s financial systems and strategy.
Erika was most recently the VP and Corporate Controller of Ooyala Inc. where she played a lead role in the post-merger operational
integration following the company’s $500M sale to Telstra. Prior to this, she was the Corporate Controller of Medallia Inc, where
she led the accounting team through a period of substantial revenue growth and global footprint expansion.
Erika is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA from Santa Clara University, and a Diploma in Leadership and Management from Stanford University. In her free time, Erika enjoys reading, exercising and spending time with friends and family.
VP, Business Development
Charlie is responsible for Perennial’s business development efforts, including the management of its partnerships and growth initiatives.
Prior to joining Perennial, he worked for Bank of America Merrill Lynch in equity research and equity capital markets, where he helped asset managers evaluate publicly-traded companies in the payments and consumer finance sectors and advised corporate clients on raising capital through public equity offerings. Charlie holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. While at Kellogg, he helped scale the operations of one of the fastest growing do-it-yourself home security companies. He spends his free time exploring the outdoors while biking, running, and surfing with his wife Becca.
President, Escape Technology & Digital Schools
Ramona is responsible for managing the daily operations of both Escape and Digital Schools.
She joined Escape in 2007 and has been instrumental in the ongoing growth of the company. Ramona holds a Master’s of Science degree, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Advanced Project Management Certification from Stanford University. In her free time, Ramona enjoys running, cycling and spending time with her family.
President, Software Answers
Paul is cofounder of Software Answers (est 1994) and is responsible for managing the daily operations.
Prior to Software Answers, he worked for Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) for ten years. Paul graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics with a minor in Accounting and Economics. Paul serves on the board for the American Endowment Fund, the board of advisors for International Insurance Group, the Greater Cleveland Partnership (GCP) Advocacy Committee, and the GCP Small Business Caucus. In his free time, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and family, listening to books, and helping kids grow spiritually and/or in the STEM field.
Eon is responsible for managing the daily operations of eDoctrina Corp.
After obtaining a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering, Eon rose through various engineering and supervisory positions before becoming Vice President for Quality and Regulatory Affairs for Ethox Corp. Eon left industry to pursue his calling in education, where he began as a teacher and eventually became a Technology Director, Assistant Superintendent and the founder of eDoctrina. Eon loves guiding the company toward meeting its mission of helping students succeed! In his spare time Eon enjoys traveling with his family, sailing and rock climbing.
Bob is responsible for managing the daily operations of Healthmaster.
He joined Healthmaster in 2011 as Vice President of Software Development and in 2014 became Healthmaster’s Chief Operating Officer where he has been instrumental in growing the Healthmaster product line and business. Bob was previously founder and CEO of Excent Corporation where he was lead developer of the Excent Special Education software and helped to grow the company to a nationwide presence. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado School of Mines. In his spare time, Bob enjoys running ultramarathons and hiking in the mountains.
